AZAZEL/EDDIE 'TEQUILA' CHAN

Azazel is a Slayer. He rebelled against God because he could no longer reconcile His edict for the angels not to reveal themselves to the humans when those same humans clearly needed their aid to understand the death the Reapers were forced to bring to the animals and plants around them. He was the Slayer to discover that the Realm of the Dead had been barred to the rebels and fought in the defence of Kasedaja as part of the Alabaster Legion.

Eddie 'Tequilla' Chan is a homicide detective with the LAPD. However, he is one of the few honest cops in an otherwise corrupt administration and the sight of all those murderers he had worked so hard to put behind bars being allowed to walk free opened a hole in his soul big enough to house Azazel.
