Arael was a member of the Ebon Legion, a warrior of infamy, who killed not for a noble cause, but simply for the pure joy of inflicting pain. Within the Abyss, with no more victims, his anger grew and festered, but he developed a cunning he had not possessed before. Maybe it was that cunning that led him to seek out Nathanael and aid him in the creation of the bottle...or was it something else?
