THE ABYSS

The Abyss has been divided into a number of fiefdoms, lorded over by the more powerful demons. Those too weak to fight back are treated as slaves or worse, they are merely tortured for the amusement of their 'betters'.

One such fiefdom is ruled by Lord Fossegrim, a powerful Devil. The Scourge Riyazgor acts as his vizier. In his dungeons, he tortures other Fallen so that he may extract raw Faith from them in the form of snuff.

Other known fiefdoms are ruled by Belphegor (a Defiler), Queen Anat (a Fiend) and Liriel (a Devourer).
